A Pace That’s Yours

Staying in step with what growth is revealing without pressure to rush or hold back

A pace all your own

Growth is happening.

And it’s revealing.

Areas that are working.

Areas that need strengthening.

And you’re responding.

Moving.

Building.

But your mind starts to fill.

“I need to go faster.”

“There’s so much to do.”

“So much depends on this…”

You want to move at the pace you know is right.

But inside…

you feel the pull.

The pressure to go.

“This is what it takes to get results.”

“This is how others are doing it.”

So…

you push.

Or…

you look ahead

and it feels like… a lot.

And instead of moving forward,

you hesitate.

You pull yourself back.

Tell yourself you’re just taking your time.

Waiting for the “right” moment.

When you know there’s more to it.

“What if this doesn’t work?”

“What if I fail?”

“What if this becomes a waste…?”

And sometimes…

it’s not just one or the other.

It’s both.

And somewhere in all of that…you end up out of step.

Not all at once.

Just enough

that something starts to feel off.

The peace you once had

about the direction…

about your pace…begins to fade.

Not because you moved.

But because something else

started setting your pace.

And most of the time…

we don’t even realize it.

Because when things feel off,

we assume it’s about how fast or slow we’re going.

But it’s not just about speed.

Reframing Pace (What It Actually Is)

Reframing what pace is

When we think of pace, we often think about speed.

Fast or slow.

Go fast and you’re moving.

Go slow and you’re falling behind.

Pause and you’re doing nothing.

But your pace is more than speed.

It’s how you move with what’s been revealed.

With what you know is true.

And we each have a pace of our own.

The pace you’ve been graced to carry.

To build in.

To grow in.

To fully walk out what’s been revealed.

Your pace isn’t something you copy.

It’s not something you force.

It’s something you recognize.

When you’re aligned.

And deep within, you know when your pace fits.

You know when you are in step.

With where you are.

With what needs to be done.

And how.

You know.

Movement alone doesn’t pull you out of alignment.

Pressure does.

Fear does.

Owning Your Pace

Being confident in the pace you are to go

It’s one thing to recognize and know your pace.

It’s another

to own it.

Because this is where you decide.

To take responsibility for how you move.

Not to force or control the outcome…

but to stay aligned with what you know is true.

To stay with your pace

even when pressure tells you to move faster.

To stay with your pace

even when fear tells you to hold back.

Growth may guide your pace.

It may inform it.

But it doesn’t decide it.

And pressure and fear…

they will try to decide it.

But the choice is yours.

And that takes courage.

To stand firm in what you know you need to do.

And how you know you need to move.

And to carry it forward.

In step.

Aligned.

Because alignment isn’t something you choose once.

You learn how to stay anchored in it as you move.

And the courage you need to decide

is already within you.

Final Anchoring Thoughts

When you feel that pull to rush or hesitate…

come back to this:

I don’t have to rush or hold back.

I can move at the pace that aligns with what I know is true.

You don’t have to force your pace

or question it constantly.

You can recognize it…and stay with it.

And fully walk out

what’s been revealed.

Return to your pace of grace

Putting It into Action

As you continue moving forward, take a moment to check in:

Am I being pushed forward… or pulled back?

Is this pace coming from clarity… or pressure?

What does this actually require right now?

If something feels off…

Pause.

You don’t need to figure something new out.

You don’t need to start over.

Return.

Return to what you already know.

Return to what needs your attention now.

Return to the pace that allows you to stay steady.

And continue from there.
